Have you ever sprayed a room mist and wondered why there’s no lavender in it? I deal with the same thing — I love the smell of lavender, but usually I’m disappointed to see that its ingredient list is missing. It’s even worse when it’s not even in an essential oil form, but rather as some sort of fragrance.

Essential oils are 100% natural, and fragrance oils are not. This means that essential oils are made from 100% all-natural substances, while fragrance oils are not. Essential oils and fragrance oils are both used for aromatherapy, but they have different properties. If you’re going to be playing around with essential oils and fragrance oils, you should know the difference between them.

Fragrance oils, are a mixture of chemical substances created by man. The mixture of these chemicals is called a compound. The fragrance oil contains the same chemical compounds as the essential oil extracted from the natural product, but in a much lesser amount and has been diluted for easier application.

Essential oils can be beneficial to your health: they can help improve moods, reduce stress levels, increase energy levels and more! While there is some debate on whether or not essential oils have an effect on your mood or stress levels due to placebo effect (which is when you think something will work so much that it actually does), if you believe in them then they probably will work for you!

For that reason I decided to created line of home sprays, one of them is a linen mist.
I am so excited to share with you my simple, yet powerful linen mist recipe. This mist is a great way to achieve restful sleep. It’s made with lavender and Roman chamomile essential oils to promote relaxation, as well as reduce anxiety and stress. Lavender oil has a calming effect and creates a soothing space conducive to falling asleep. Roman chamomile oil, known as a mild nerve calming agent, improves sleep quality. Chamomile oil also has a soothing effect on the body and mind, which will help you drift off into slumber land. Both lavender and Roman chamomile are known for their relaxing properties, and the lavender fragrance helps mask other scents you may not be so fond of.

I use it in my bedroom at night to help me relax and fall asleep quicker when I have trouble relaxing before bed. Plus it smells amazing! Can’t recommend it enough:)
